CAUTION!
Do not use phosphorous solders with sulphurous media or with Fe and Ni alloys.

When soldering medical gases, only solders that contain phosphorous should be used, as these are processed with no flux when joining copper to copper. Fluxes and appropriate silver solders without phosphorous may be used only for soldering e.g. brass or gunmetal wall plates to copper pipes. During soldering, reducing inert gas must channelled through be pipes and the gas flow must be guaranteed.
