2000Degussa Austria GmbH renamed as Degussa-Hüls CEE GmbH (Central Eastern Europe) dmc2 AG hived off from Degussa-Hüls AG in GermanySale/hiving off of Ögussa Österreichische Gold- und Silberscheideanstalt Ges.m.b.H. from Degussa-Hüls CEE GmbH to dmc2 AG, Hanau, and the Allgemeine Gold- und Silberscheideanstalt AG, Pforzheim, as majority owners. 2001Sale of dmc2 AG from Degussa AG to the OM Group, Inc. on 10.08.2001. Renaming of dmc2 AG as OMG AG & Co. KG, dmc2 division.
2003Purchase that Precious Metals Group OMG by n.v. Umicore s.a., Brüssel (www.umicore.com). The Umicore is an international concern mit den Geschäftsbereichen Advanced of materials, copper, precious metals and zinc. It makes with approx 12.400 coworkers anrevenues of ca. 8 bn Euro and is world market leader with the precious metal recycling.
