In 25 departments and across 70 different occupational groups, our activities focus on technically pioneering materials that are essential for everyday life. Precious metal compounds for defibrillators that make hearts beat again, catalytic converters for car exhausts to reduce pollutant emissions; thermocouples for high-temperature measurements up to 1700°C.
